Carbon Centric is building the world’s first full scale carbon capture plant at a waste incineration plant and is looking for several skilled people to join our team.
We are passionate about preserving a sustainable environment and we work diligently to accelerate the transition towards a low carbon future. Together with partners, we integrate proven carbon capture technology in waste incineration plants, and are constantly on the lookout for better ways to remove CO2 from the atmosphere and store it safely for millennia to come. That is why we will start building the world’s first full-scale carbon capture plant in waste incineration already now. But we don’t stop there: We plan to establish many more capture plants in the years to come and we are well underway in securing a project pipeline large enough to make a difference in our battle against climate change.
Carbon Centric is a startup company with a solid foundation: our majority shareholder, Østfold Energy, has been working in the renewable energy space for decades, and our partners are amongst the most experienced in the CCUS industry. What we need
Being a startup is all about adaptation, therefore we don’t have a specific box that you must fit into. Most importantly you have the right motivation and spirit. We need hard working and self-driven people with grit and integrity within the following fields:
Project management and large project execution
Technical lead
Sales and, business development.
Quality assurance
CCUS regulatory framework
Ideally, you have a technical MSc or PhD degree in a relevant field, complemented with more than two years of work experience. (Extensive experience might compensate for a lack of formal education). We believe you meet some of the following statements:
You care for the environment and want to make a difference
You have a “can do” attitude and are eager to learn and contribute
You have an interest for, or experience from, carbon capture, transport, usage and storage, incineration plants, heat pumps, energy and mass balance, civil work, FEED and EPC work etc.
You have experience in project management and project execution
>2 years work experience
