Carbon capture & CDR
Our goal is to combat climate change by accelerating the industrial deployment of carbon capture to remove as much CO₂ as possible, as quickly as possible. We develop a portfolio of capture projects and offer the captured biogenic CO₂ for industrial use or for storage to achieve carbon removal (CDR). Our first capture plant is already in operation at Rakkestad, Norway.
Carbon Centric specializes in industrial carbon capture from various types of combustion processes and other sources with high biogenic content. For our carbon removal projects, we have selected geological storage — a safe and long-lasting storage solution. CO₂ is injected into geological formations, where it remains securely stored for centuries.

Carbon Centric Founders
Fredrik is the CEO and co-founder of Carbon Centric. He most recently came from Østfold Energi, where he had the role of digital business developer. Fredrik has led several projects related to energy and the energy transition, and at the same time contributed to assessing external investment opportunities. He has a total of 14 years of experience in business development, innovation management, technology and product development. Fredrik has worked in the carbon capture industry for over 2 years before he co-founded Carbon Centric.
Fredrik holds a master's degree in entrepreneurship and innovation from NMBU and a bachelor's industrial design from HiØ.

Chief Executive Officer
and Co-Founder
Kenneth is the chief commercial officer (CCO) and is one of the co-founders. He has 13 years of experience from various roles in a broad energy industry. After 3 years as a project engineer at ABB Oil and Gas, he spent 5 years at Hymatek Controls, which supplies equipment to the hydropower industry. Here he sat 4 years as sales and marketing manager. For the past 5 years, he has held roles in sales / business development in innovative IT companies aimed at the energy industry, including eSmart Systems and most recently in Enfo AS, where he served as acting CEO and CCO.
Kenneth holds a master's degree in engineering cybernetics from NTNU and has 2 years of leadership training from the Norwegian Armed Forces.
