On Wednesday 26 August, Chief Commercial Officer Kenneth Juul spoke at the ONS Conference Centre, where he gave a status update on the projects, presented the company's Build, Own & Operate model and explained how Carbon Centric will produce carbon dioxide removals (CDR) from biogenic sources.
Carbon Centric presented together with Inherit, Enova and Northern Lights JV – players that together cover large parts of the Norwegian value chain for carbon capture, transport and storage.
ONS is one of the world's leading energy forums and this year brought the industry together around geopolitics, energy security and climate under the heading “Courage”. That carbon removal has been given a clear place on the programme is yet another sign that the market is maturing.
