Carbon Centric co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer Kenneth Juul was awarded the “BioCCUS Ambassador of the Year” prize by KLIMPO at The Carbon Capture X-Pedition 2026 conference in Stockholm.
Carbon Centric co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer Kenneth Juul was awarded the “BioCCUS Ambassador of the Year” prize by KLIMPO at The Carbon Capture X-Pedition 2026 conference, held in Stockholm on 23–24 March.
The prize is shared with Julia Ahlrot of Växjö Energi AB and is highly regarded in the Nordic BioCCUS community.
“I share this award with all my colleagues at Carbon Centric. It is the result of teamwork over several years,” says Kenneth Juul.
Carbon Centric was well represented at the conference. Rebecka Kalnes gave the presentation “From one plant to a portfolio: How Carbon Centric scales carbon capture”, on how the company is scaling carbon capture from a single plant to a portfolio, and Kenneth Juul took part in the panel discussion “CCS, CCU & E-Fuels: Straight Answers”.
The conference brought together players from across the Nordic bioCCUS value chain – capture, transport, storage and utilisation of biogenic CO₂ – and is an important arena for knowledge sharing in a rapidly developing market.
