In Helsinki, Project Manager Raymond Forbord presented the Rakkestad project at Bioenergia ry's conference Bio-CO2 Use and Removal 2026 on 5 May, after seven months of commercial operation. The visit also included a tour of Vantaan Energia's waste-to-energy plant and its carbon capture project.
In Copenhagen, Raymond Forbord shared experience at the CO₂ Capture, Storage & Reuse Conference on 20–21 May, alongside DNV, Pentair and others, with a focus on operational carbon capture projects and the role of CO₂ liquefaction in the value chain.
In Trondheim, Chief Technology Officer Arne Jakobsen presented lessons learned after nine months of operation at the CO₂ Impact Workshop on 4 June, organised by the Gemini Centre for CO₂ Capture – a collaboration between NTNU, the University of South-Eastern Norway and SINTEF. Project Engineer Emmy Kristine Rustad also attended.
The Rakkestad plant captures CO₂ from Østfold Energi's waste-to-energy plant and supplies recycled, food-grade liquid CO₂ to industry (CCU). The operational experience feeds directly into the development of the company's upcoming projects.
