The Trehørningen project is a collaboration between Carbon Centric and Eidsiva Bioenergi at their waste incineration facility outside Hamar. The plant will capture 50,000–70,000 tonnes of CO₂ per year, more than 80% of the CO₂ from the incineration process. Whether the CO₂ will be used or stored permanently has not been finally decided. Planned start-up 2029/2030.
