Carbon Centric at ZERO Conference 2024

Carbon Centric participated in the ZERO Conference 2024, one of Norway’s leading arenas for climate policy and technology-driven transformation.

Together with Norsk e-Fuel, SMS group (Paul Wurth), and Norwegian, we presented how the full value chain for the production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) can be established – from CO₂ capture to finished electrofuel.

Carbon Centric contributes to this value chain by supplying CO₂ from sustainable sources, which is used as a feedstock in the production of synthetic aviation fuel. This represents a critical solution for reducing emissions in a sector with limited decarbonization alternatives.

During the conference, we co-hosted a stand with our partners, where we had the opportunity to present our technology and engage in discussions on regulatory frameworks and future opportunities with stakeholders from industry, government, and academia. A particular highlight was the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon, who showed great interest in the project and in the potential of Norwegian industry and technology to drive the green transition.
