On March 6, Carbon Centric participated in the founding meeting of Oslo Carbon Cluster, held at Oslo City Hall. The cluster brings together key stakeholders to accelerate the development of a profitable CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage) industry in the Oslo region and beyond.

The initiative is supported by Oslo Municipality and includes founding members such as Hafslund Oslo Celsio, Equinor, Norsk e-Fuel, Veas, SLB Capturi, University of Oslo, IOM Law, Inherit, and Hoop CO₂.
Kenneth Juul, Co-founder of Carbon Centric, was elected Vice Chair of the Board, with Markus Sebastian Hole from Hafslund Oslo Celsio elected as Chair.
The cluster aims to build a complete CCUS value chain through collaborative projects in carbon capture, transport, storage, and utilization – with a particular focus on shared infrastructure for liquid CO₂ and establishing Oslo Harbor as a regional hub.
We thank Oslo Municipality for hosting and supporting the initiative, and Zynk for guiding the process forward.
